Chapter one: The worst day of my life
Beep! Beep! Beep!
I'm clock was screaming into the my ears. I turned it off and stretched lazily on my bed. Looking over I saw my roommate, a brown skinned vampire with tangled black hair.
" Morning Jess" she yawned
"Morning Eliza" I responded
" Ready for another day protecting magical rocks?"
"Why not?"
We crawled out of bed and started to change. For me, a Tmnt T shirt, jeans, and sneakers, my strappeddagger to my side. For Eliza, a blood red crop top, short black skirt, and ripped sweat jacket. We walked out of the girls room and into the
kitchen,where the male guardians already waited. Ben, a tree nypth with scraggly green hair and leafy clothes, and Mako, a demon with two short horns sticking out of his blood red hair, wings, casual cloths, and glasses. I smiled. Sunrise Island is
a placefull of the people that have been abandoned by the world. Ben, a male tree nypth. Mako, a nerdy demon. Eliza, a African American vampire. I can use magic . And Ray, the prankster ghost. Where was he anyway?
"Good Morning!" Sang Ben "I'm made waffles!" Mako looked up from his book.
"Waffles? Nice!" Ben gave us each a steaming plate of waffles. As we scarfed them down, the thought still nagged me.
"Has anyone seen Ray?" I blurted
Mako looked up.
"No" he said "He took the night watch, but he should've been back by now.I'm starting to get a little worried."
Suddenly, there was knock on the door. I stood up and opened the door to see a sobbing Ray. The ghost feel on top of me sobbing and muttering random things.
"Hey come down" Iwhispered to him " what happened?"
"Someonecame.
They knocked me out and took the crystals"
"Please tell me you're joking" I said
"I'm not"
My fellow guardian started to panic. They ran around and smashed things. I was able to keep my cool and spoke over all the chaos"
" hey everybody calm down!" I shouted.
Once everyone calmed down I spoke again.
"We need to find the crystals at all costs. Mako, can you track down the location of the nearest Crystal?"
"On it" he replied, out of device and punching codes and intoit. Aminutes later he had done it.
"The crystal of hate is in a place called Hogwarts, but we should prepare and tell the village we are leaving before we do anything.

This was were ready. I closedmy eyes and let all my energy focus into a ball.

I thrusted my hands towards the wall and open my eyes. An icyblue portal clung to the wall. I glanced at my comrades. Thenback to the portal. I stepped into it and let the icy feeling cover my body.
