Doku Tsume (or 'Not Your Typical IY Fanfic!')

It's your typical day in the Feudal Era, when out of the blue shows up Sesshoumaru, wanting: You guessed it... to help find the Jewel Shards.
What? You didn't guess it?
...That's not right... why could you have not guessed it...?
Oh, that's right... nobody's ever done a fanfic like that before, that's why, or at least, not any story I've seen so far... silly me. My mistake. Anyway... why does he wish to help the Inugumi? Why is Jaken always nervous when anyone mentions Rin? And WHO is the guy Kagome keeps seeing in her dreams? (And conversely, why is the girl visiting Inuyasha's dreams so familiar?) Find out this and more... but FIRST, an Author's Note:
Sesshy, Kagome, Muttman -- err, Inuyasha and the rest of the IY crew are Takahashi-sama-sensei's, not mine. Why not? I dunno. Maybe it's 'cause the dogboy doesn't like me. (I'm just glad he's not trying to hump my leg... dogs seem to do that to me often nowadays. It's frightning. 0_0 If he tried... *twitchsputterthud*)
However, Ravynn and the various evil youkai-demon-monster-thingummies are mine, for the most part. (Mwahaha! Go, my minions! Wreak Havoc!)
Please note, that I am not a 'do-or-die' supporter of any relationships herin... this was just the result of being extremely bored and reading a bunch of Sesshy fanfics. Minor Note: Arg! FF.Net is being a pain again! *thumpwhackpound*WORK! It won't load... guess I'll have to post this later.
A-hem... this is my first 'fic on FF.Net, but I've done some others unposted anywhere... once tried an IY fanfic, but it didn't work out... lost the file. Ah, well, it was crap anyway... the only good part was the bloopers I did after I finished part two. I seem good at doing bloopers, so expect every other chapter to be a bloopers segment of the previous chapter. If that doesn't happen, it's an Author's Note like this one... or I'm cramming two blooper sets in one 'cause I'm too lazy to think up enough good ones for one chapter to fill out one page. Cheers!
