Damn I cried so hard at the end of JJ. It was a beautiful tribute to her character and I'm trying to comfort myself by saying she's still in the city, Reid and Garcia and the others can still see her, that's a lot better sometimes than some other character depatures from other shows.

But even in the midst of this depression my Reid plot bunny brain is ticking away! Mainly because of how devestated Reid was at the end of the episode :(

The change in the air had been dramatic since JJ's depature. Hotch had kept even more of a distance from him and the team. Almost afraid to get closer to them, now that he saw how quickly they could be taken away from him.

Morgan had spent many hours in Garcia's office, comforting her. Emily noticed the change in Reid, though. He also become more distant, colder almost. A lot less eager about rambling on about different kinds of facts. He too, seemed to distant himself from everyone.

"Reid?" She asked him softly. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Reid looked at her.

"Talk about what?"

"About JJ..."

"What about her?" He said simply.

"I know her leaving us really affected you..."

"Why? Because she left like everyone else I cared about left? Like my dad? And Gideon?"Reid's voice sounded bitter and Emily sucked in her breath. It was clear Reid had abandonment issues and this wasn't helping.

"Reid-"

"No Emily. I don't want to talk about this." She sighed and rubbed her forehead. Quickly a flustered Reid left the desk. Morgan appeared and noticed Emily's look.

"How's Garcia?" Emily asked.

"Better now that Kevin's with her, what's wrong?"

"It's Reid," sighed Emily. "He's taking this news really really hard."

Morgan closed his eyes. Damn it, should have kept a closer eye on the kid.

"He has serious abandonment issues and JJ leaving us isn't helping that," Emily added. "It just added more salt to the wound. I think he's scared about losing more people he cares about."

Morgan nodded.

"I'll go find him," he said softly. Emily nodded, grateful and wondered if Reid could recover from this sudden and major change.

Reid stared at himself in the mirror in the bathroom hating himself more than ever.

Everyone he cares about leaves him. He wondered why that is. He tried to ignore the taunting voice saying they all left because of him, because they couldn't stand being around such a freak, because he knew that wasn't true.

Why did everyone he loved end up leaving?

It made him scared to feel.

In fact he didn't want to feel. He wanted this pain to go away so he took an anti depression pill. Than he took another, and another and another.

Morgan pushed open the door. He had searched everywhere in the building for Reid, but couldn't find him.

"Reid? You in here man?" He walked in the room and stared in horrified shock and Reid laying on the floor, his mouth covered in foam. "Reid? Reid!" He yelled for help as he rushed towards the young man, praying that he wasn't too late.

Praying that they wouldn't lose Reid too.
