Title: A Safe-House Game

Author: Stacey-Marie

Pairings: none

Warnings: death, possession

Disclaimers: Gundam Wing and all of it's characters, mecha and other miscellaneous stuff isn't mine so don't sue me because you have a better chance of finding a live cabbit in my room than something of value.

Note: this is a poem done for my English class to the tune of a poem called "Just to Say" where the author apologizes for eating the plums but the attitude of the poem and his wording say he doesn't really mean it. This is from Duo's POV.

A Safe-House Game

I'm sorry that I shot you

I'm sorry that you're dead

I'm sorry that I blew off

Your precious little head

I'm sorry that I killed you

And there's blood pooling 'round my feet

I'm sorry that I have to tell you

That it was kind of neat

But Death's job is never done

I run and hide but do not lie

A war is a perfect cover

For my vicious little mind

When I took this body

Little did I know

Of the little rebel lying here

So I'm sorry that I killed you

But guilt is not for me

And when I leave this shredded mind

He'll see the blood stained hands

That slew his best friend

And no amount of sorries

Will ever take that away

So I'm sorry that I killed you Heero

But being bored with just Duo and you

Really did make a delightful game

Especially since I won
