I wrote this in my English class one of my friends helped me with the letter ( we were in JROTC when we did the letter and looked over it). I was going over it when my English teacher took it and read it out loud in class let's just say she wasn't the only one crying. :)
All mistakes at mine
I own nothing
Dark stood by his lovers grave and pulled out a letter that Link had given him before he passed away and read the words on it out loud.
" 'Dark, I know my time is near, and I want you to know that you are my only love. I hope you know that you saved me that night in the Water Temple. I'm sorry I left you before our live together could began. Thank you for caring for me as well as loving me unconditionally." Dark had to stop and calm himself before he could continue. "For this will hurt the both of us, stay strong and protect the love we share. When the days turn dark and all else fails look up at the stars, I'll be looking back at you even though you wouldn't be able to see me. You are my strength as I am yours. Hold your head high and count the years we had together. One day many years from now we'll meet again and until that day comes, please, smile to the end because I will be there to greet you.' Link, with out you I will never be truly happy again." The depressed man choked out and then whipped away his tears that ran down his tanned skin.
He then sat down and place Snapdragons, Links favorite flowers, on the hero's grave.
Btw Link wrote the letter right before he died so when Dark came in to check on him he was gone and he saw the letter.
