I am back and NOT DEAD OR IN JUVIE! Thank you for your concern. I should be able to update now which I have missed being able to do very much. And I hope you missed me too. 'Cuz if you didn't that kind of hurts my feelings.
Apollo Remembers
Apollo started walking. Normally he drove but this was just something that it felt better to walk to. His pace was slow and solemn, as was his mood. He knew that this was going to be sad, but maybe like Artemis had said it would give him some closer.
When the sun god reached the graveyard he went to a solid black grave stone with elegant white letters. Beloved friend, daughter, and sister, you shall be missed, he read.
One of his daughters was six feet under his feet in a pine box right now. Sweet little Molly had lived through the Titan War only to have some mortal with a gun and a pack of beer in all the she could ever be before she was even fifteen. Apollo had seen to the death of the drunkard but nothing he did could bring back his daughter.
The entire Apollo cabin had grieved for their sister. Most of them had recovered after a few months or for some of them who were closer to Molly year or two passed but not Molly's closest sister- and best friend, Suzy.
Eleven days after Molly had been killed it had all been too much for the girl who found herself alone with a sword. Molly and Suzy were buried side by side. That was how they had always been for each other.
But the drunkard had no clue how many lives he was ruining when he pulled the trigger. Maybe if he had, he wouldn;t have done it. Suzy's boyfriend, Alex, had found it was all too much as well after losing his girlfriend and one of his best friends. He had taken the same way out as Suzy.
Sometimes Apollo wished he could take the easy way out too. But he can't.
I'm stuck with this pain forever, he thought subconsciously as he whipped away tears and walked away from the three graves that had fresh flowers on them.
Love it? Hate it? Want to kill me? TOO BAD! Some people are going to think that Apollo is very OOC in this but this is just kind of how I see him.
