Captain Kathryn Janeway was bored. Very bored. Laying back in her chair, she closed her eyes. She was almost asleep when she heard Chakotay saying something that almost made her shoot straight up out of her chair.
"Nice buns." What the hell was he thinking, talking like that? She turned to give him 'the look.'
"Chakotay," she said in an icy tone, "what did you just say?"
"I said, 'nice buns.'" She simply glared at him.
"I was just being polite!" He said gesturing to Naomi and Metzoi. They both had their hair bunched up on top of their heads.
