Title: So Illogically Right

Genre: Drama/Romance

Pairings: Denmark/Iceland

Fandom: Hetalia

Summary: The trials and tribulations of the world's most unexpected couple.

Cherub- If it was one thing Denmark liked about Iceland it was that sullen, youthful face.

Adulate – Denmark's praises and admiration never ceased to raise Iceland's ire…but deep down he never stopped appreciating the attention.

Barrier – Sweden's scorn, Finland's fear, and Norway's apathy served as barriers between them.

Egress – Now longer having the stomach to witness Norway and Denmark's flirtatious banter, Iceland left, looking tight-lipped and feeling strangely cold.

Dipsomania – It was only when Denmark was at his drunk that he would drop his childish façade and cry over his loneliness in Iceland's arms.

Gallant – Ignoring the boy's half-hearted struggles, Denmark simply held him closer and commented on how much of a woman he was.

Forehand – As Finland watched the relationship between Denmark and Norway shrivel up and die he had a feeling that it wouldn't take the Dane very long to lavish his affections on the Norwegian's younger brother,

Incapable – Denmark knew that Iceland was capable of actually feeling…but he was incapable of acting on said feeling.

Hackneyed – Iceland was going to have to get use to the fact that he wasn't and couldn't be the carbon copy of Denmark's old lover.

Impend – The angry expression on Iceland's face spoke volumes and Denmark was starting to regret coming home drunk and high off his ass (he blames Netherlands but in actuality it's his own fault).

Limp – He felt something akin to fondness when that idiot Dane caught sight of his limp and tended to the sore ankle.

Navel – Iceland took note of the Dane's twisting mouth, looking as if he was holding back moans whenever the boy's tongue found his navel.

Malcontent – Denmark was not at all pleased with Iceland's lack of assertiveness…but for once he'll be patient and settle on just enjoying his quiet company and the twining of their fingers.
