I do not own anything in the Harry Potter universe

It's funny how some things work isn't it? One minute you're sitting there with the love of your life enveloped by each others presence the next you're standing at his grave, watching as they lower a black casket into the ground, with tears streaming down your face. No comfort from your friends, not one of them could possibly know how you feel right now. Grief is your home; it's where you've lived for the last ten days. Passing through funeral plans in a daze, you can't even remember a time when you weren't in tears. Eternal sleep calls your name, it's like an old friend but it's pointless, not the answer to your issues. You need to hold onto your life, try to pull the pieces back together. Even if it seems like you can't, you must.
Remember the good times. Your first date, the first time you held hands, your first date, and your first kiss. The first time you laid in his arms for an entire night, the feelings you will always feel for him. Let him live on in your heart; don't ever forget the shape of his face or the feeling of his hand in yours, the way he looked at you or interrupted you to steal a kiss. He is a part of you, he always will be. Hold on to all your memories, they're all you have to sustain you for the rest of your life. Don't forget the time in Paris, where he proposed to you in the moonlight. Your wedding, the honeymoon in Prague, consummating your marriage, all those wonderful nights you two spent wrapped up in each other. It's going to hurt, every day without him will be like you're missing a lung, but you need to pull through.
You have to hold yourself together, you need to go to work, and you need to spend time with your loved ones. No, you can't lock yourself in a room for the rest of your life...no matter how much easier it might seem if you did. It will hurt, but it will hurt less with time. Time is the healer of all wounds, no matter how deep they are.
Take a deep breath.
In, out, in, out.
Everything is going to be alright.
He promised it would be.
Hermione reached a hand up to her lips and kissed her finger tips lightly, and pressed them to the cold stone.
"Draco Malfoy
Best friend, lover, husband, and son."
She took a deep breath and turned to walk back into the Manor to join the Malfoy's and guests. Glancing back at the headstone, she put a hand on her stomach.
"We're going to be alright baby, mommy promises." She whispered.
