Her Tears Fall
Tears fall one by one,
A pool of sadness deep within her heart,
Tears fall broken and forgotten.
Pain creates them, sadness releases them.
Broken, shattered, discarded, unwanted,
Her tears reflect the way she feels,
No-one notices if she's quiet,
Calling her names as she does the things she loves,
Teasing her because of her name,
Never seeing the damage that they do,
Never hearing her sobs at night,
But then again, no-one notices that,
Not even her family,
She can turn to no-one for help.
Family tells secrets meant for no-one else to hear,
Friends stab her in the back.
Bottled up are all her emotions,
Rarely released, only through her tears,
Her tears fall,
Broken, shattered, discarded, unwanted,
Always reflecting the way she feels.
