Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick
Stupid Irritating Anoying clock!
The white walls in the small room loomed overhead. His family and friends were gathered around, sitting in extended silence while he leaned on his knees and crossed his hands. That clock had to be broken. The loud noise was getting to him and he couldn't help but feel like the walls were closing in around him.
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick
How long had she been in that room? He wasn't allowed in or use his byakugan to see due to her wishes. How stupid was that? Lee was leaning up against the wall, unusually quiet. He had been more than happy the day before, exclaiming things about the blossoming youth and passing the torch to the next generation

Hiashi was standing in the corner with Hanabi at his side, pale eyes looming over to his nephew who was getting more annoyed by the minute. Shikamaru was talking with Chouji in whispers about something that sounded awfully like Shogi. Sakura and Hinata were absent as they were currently in that Kami for saken room. Why did they get to in and not him? It wasn't fair.

Naruto was getting excited in the corner, fidgetting with his hands like someone who had an overdose of sugar. He kept glancing up at the clock, checking to see if it was still working. They had been here for almost three hours, staring at the white walls or the spotless clean floor.. Or maybe at the ceiling with its dull plain lights. White paint peeling from certain areas of the room.
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tink Ding Ding
The clock chimed twelve and Shizune burst from the room, a blank expression on her face. Neji jumped to his feet, finally waiting to recieve the news. Shizune's expression turned into a smile.
"Congradulations, you're a father."
There were cheers around the room and Neji felt like vomiting with relief. "How is she?" he asked, curious as to how Tenten had been after giving birth. She was petrified when she was entering the room, guided by Tsunade who was to deliver the baby.
"She's doing well.. She's still awake if you'd like to go in?"
Neji didn't answer and passed her in two quick strides, entering the light cream room with plenty of machines to ensure the healthy birth of his baby.
Tenten was lying on the bed looking worse for wear, holding a bundle of limbs wrapped in a pale blue blanket. She smiled weakly when she saw Neji approach.
"It's a boy," she said unnecessarily. The blanket was a give away.
"You did good," he whispered when he was in ear shot of her. She nodded and smiled once more. Hinata glided over wearily, unsure of whether she should interupt.
"I'm sorry to disturb you but the others are getting impatient. They want to see the baby too," she smiled weakly.
"You'll be the godmother won't you?" asked Neji, finally finding the full volume of his voice. He looked down at his son, pale skin to match his with paler eyes. His cheeks were red and tiny dimples were at the corners of his mouth. Hinata nodded meekly, smiling all the same. "It would be an honour."
"Can I take him out to see the others?" he asked Tenten who nodded and handed the bundle of joy over to him before promptly dozing off on the side of the pillow. He kissed her forehead gently before Tsunade and Sakura came over to tend to her.
The cheers erupted around him as he retured to the waiting room, this time accompanied by his cousin and his little boy.
"I'm a dad," he said proudly, holding up the bundle to show the room.
Even the peeling white paint was more appealing at this very moment to Neji. He would be happy to stay here for awhile with his son.
