Last Christmas
Last Christmas they had lots of fun; they had a beautiful dinner at the Potter manor and then they went to a party. The four of them sneaked out and had a night like the ones they had while at Hogwarts. They went into a bar in the muggle world. They decided they'd have one last immature night, one more getaway of the real life, one last look at life as they had known it.
Because everything was about to change. Lily was pregnant - James was beyond happiness because of that, Moony got the right to study, Peter had started doing something he was actually good at, Sirius was finally going out with a girl he cared about. Their lives were starting to take a new beginning.
Last Christmas was perfect for them, they had never been so happy, last Christmas they thought everything in life could be perfect. Last Christmas, everything was still all right. Last Christmas was magical. Not the kind of magic they had learned during Hogwarts, but the kind of magic that made you happy inside even when the world wasn't that fine. Last Christmas was no longer here. Last Christmas nothing had fallen apart. Yet.

Sirius Black was in his animagus form again. Hoping that this way he could stay sane. He was now in jail –unsure of how to protect his godson, wanting to get out so the world would know the truth. Remus probably hated him by now, and that rat had run away, hiding behind a lie of the death he'd faked. Protected by an awful man who killed the best people this world had ever met. The best people he had ever met.
After that amazing evening they thought would never go away, bad news arrived. A Dark Lord had been arising, and the one prophesized to kill him was the baby Lily was expecting. Peter turned out to be a traitor, Remus didn't trust Sirius, Sirius didn't trust Remus, and Harry was now living with an awful family -awaiting for destiny he shouldn't be forced to carry.
This Christmas is nothing like the last one, this Christmas is sad. This Christmas is full of memories that are nothing but lies; there was never a true friendship, there was never love between the four of them. Now, there is a desire of revenge, a big lie, and a tragedy that wore down three men that are no longer a family. This Christmas everything is upside down. This Christmas nothing is magical - nothing seems to be okay.
