The three of them sat in the brightly lit room decorated in silver and green fashion. It was familiar to all of them but yet each of them found something new. It almost looked like the room adjusted itself to fit the memories they all had but as every mind is different from others so are the memories.

Bellatrix looked with her deep black eyes and found strange vase standing in the corner. She didn't remember any such thing being in the room in her memories but someone from her two companions probably did. She shifted a little in her couch and looked out of the window into the overwhelming brightness behind the glass. Every day was bright and sunny in fact so bright that she was unable to see anything past the bright light. But it didn't matter now. She was at peace.

Her gaze wandered throught the room lingering on familiar couches and armchairs and finaly stopped at the man sitting in the oposing corner. His black hair falling into his face obstructing her view. He was leaning above the chessbord thinking deeply about his next move. She smiled the first real smile to appear on her face since she got here. She stretched her hands and legs and slowly stood up tracing with tips of her fingers the fine dark green leather of her favourite sitting spot.

„Going somewhere Bella?" the melodic voice asked her from the corner near the door.

„Not really. I just wanted to move a little bit around. How long have we been here?"

„I don't think the time is countable for us." The same voice replied with amused tint.

She turned around with another of those smiles which just came to her only in this place and looked at dark haired very handsome man. He was sitting in one of the armchairs, dressed as always in the black Hogwart's uniforms with Slytherin crest on the chest.

„It seems a little bit odd being here." She answered his gaze moving slowly forward.

He smiled. Not smirked as he usualy did not scowled as was another of his fashions. No the first honest smile spreaded on his face. His features more gentle and relaxed now making him even more handsome that before.

„How long do you think we will stay here Severus?" she turned her gaze back at the man crouching over the chess.

„Judging from what happened I would say…forever?" he smirked not even tearing his eyes off the game.

„Well that just sounds boring." She said in cheerful manor crossing the room to the large black door.

„Leaving so soon?" the other man asked.

„I don't know. I am just curious what is on the other side Tom." She answered with little wink of one eye.

„Ah always restless. What if the other side is not what you are looking for."

„Well it would be at least something." She grabbed the doorhandle and pushed.

The door opened without any noise and the bright light the same as behind the windows appeard in the frame.

„Well? Ready to move on?" Tom asked pleasantly.

„I think so. After all everything is over isn't it?" she tore her gaze from the light and looked at both men.

„Seems like it." Severus answered bitterly giving her one of his darker looks.

„Tell me Tom, do you regret anything" she asked.

„No, I may feel sorrow for somethings which happened but that is not the same thing."

She only nodded taking one deep breath moving forward to the light.

„Take care both of you." She smiled over her shoulder and stepped out into the world beyond the door and that step made her lightest and happiest in all her life. The invisible weight of living and dying faded and she was finaly free of everything. Anger, fury, regrets, sadness, happiness, guilt and pride all that clutched her around her soul vanished and her mind was free in that timeless space of brightest of lights.

The last thought to cross her mind faintly remained.

Will the two of them ever come here?

But she knew the answer already and let herself move on to whatever may come.
