Okay, so back during Valentine's day we were assigned to write love poems in my AP English class. For lack of inspiration, I turned to Harry Potter. I'm not generally into romance, so I don't ship any couples really, but since RonxHermione is canon, I went with them. I tried to make it as funny as possible. Since it is a sonnet plus an extra quatrain, I put breaks in to signify where the stanzas start and end. Reviews are gold!
Gryffindor Romance
My love for you burns like a phoenix dying,
Brighter even than Lumos Maximus.
Seven years for you I have been vying,
I'm certain there is magic between us.
You're my favorite subject to study,
And by far the best of the Weasley clan.
Loathsome Lavender has nothing on me,
I'll love you even when you're an old man.
If chance had it you were a dementor,
I'd become an outlaw just for your kiss,
And though Wizard's chess is an utter bore,
Watching you own at Quidditch is sheer bliss.
We're like Lupin and Tonks, only less dead;
After war, we can fair any weather.
Looking in the Mirror of Erised,
I would see the two of us together.
From the first book we've been destined to snog;
I know I'm right, I've read the epilogue.
