Okay so I was on DeviantArt the other day and read this incredibly cute comic that made me squeal. So, I'm doing a little one-shot on it. Very short. I think it's funny. Read this and then click on the link in my profile for the comic.
*Lyrics to Timbaland's Carry Out in bold.*
It was, in all definition of the word, boring. A usual, boring day at Harbuck's. It was eleven in the morning, the slowest time for coffee shops; too late for breakfast. Too early for lunch.
Tweek spent his time cleaning the espresso machine and restocking cups to fill the time. He needed to clean off a few tables…
Suddenly he heard the little ding! in his headpiece that signaled a car at the drive through. He walked over quickly to the screen and took a breath.
"Welcome to Harbuck's, may I take your order?" Tweek heard the car window roll down and continued, "Would you like to try our Peru Chanchamayo?"
There was no reply for a minute, and Tweek thought the customer was just making up their mind when he heard, "Take my order 'cause your body like a carry out," in a monotone but rhythmic voice. Tweek flinched.
"E-excuse me?"
"So pick it up, pick it up, yeah I like you."
Tweek blushed. There was something very familiar about that voice…
"Craig, is that—argh!—you?"
"I just can't get enough I gotta' drive through."
The song popped into his mind like a…well, no, gnomes don't really pop…
"Drive through? Carry out?" Tweek wondered out loud. "I know that song!" He didn't hear any more lyrics being fed to him and said, "Craig, why are you singing such faggotry? Crai—!" The vroom of an engine cut him off.
"Craig?"
Nothing.
"Craig? Craig?"
It was silent as the raven drove off. Tweek started to sweat. I have a bad feeling…
The engine sounded right outside the drive through window and made him jump slightly. He turned to see Craig in his old grey car sitting right there. He fixed his piercing eyes on the blonde.
What the hell?
"Cause it's me, you—"
His face was totally serious and blank, like he wasn't singing.
"You, me—"
Tweek stared at him, dumbfounded for a second.
"Me, you, all night."
"Have it your way, foreplay, before I feed your appetite."
Craig's eyes widened as Tweek belted out the chorus with a satisfied smile. The raven looked at him with open surprise.
Tweek smiled, pleased with himself. "Shit's a catchy tune."
I know. It sucks. It doesn't do the comic justice.
