Kelly's POV
I walked out into the lobby, sighing. Gustavo and I were never going to find anyone to be our 'fire.' Well, maybe. I had a good feeling about Minnesota. But I guess I was wrong.
All of a sudden the doors opened and four boys piled in one by one. A tall, tan, handsome, brown-haired boy ran up to me, breathless.
"My name is James Diamond, and I wanna be famous." He started singing, very well. I slapped a sticker on him. "Ow." he complained. The three other boys scrambled behind him, each of them grinning. I decided to get as much out of these guys as I can. Even if they couldn't sing, they were sure gonna try. I walked back to Gustavo to tell him about the boys.
"No one?" Gustavo said glumly.
"There's four boys outside, I don't know if they're any good or not, but at least they're something." I said.
"Bring em' in" I walked out to the lobby again to the four boys.
"You. Name." I said to the boy in the middle of the group. He was different than the others. He was paler, smaller, shorter.
"Me? Oh no, thank you, I'm gonna be a doctor." He said, smiling. Hm... a doctor. He must be smart.
"Oh, well, I'm a desperate talent scout and you have a cute smile and Justin Timberlake made 44 million dollars last year." I said, knowing that would change his mind. He blushed a little.
"Chip me." he said, and I slapped a sticker on him as well.
"I wanna be famous too! WOAH OHH!" the short tan boy yelled. I shut him up with a sticker. There was still one more. He was tall, blonde, and muscular, with huge eyebrows.
"You. Tall blonde and eyebrows." I said to him. "Do you want your dreams to come true today?" I asked him, smiling. He looked like a guy who could sing. He made a face, and said something about playing hockey.
"Aah" I said nicely, and slapped him with a sticker.
"810 is next." I warned the tall tan boy, and headed back to Gustavo.
"Are they coming?" Gustavo asked impatiently.
"Yeah, the first one will be here in a second." He nodded.
"So what're these guys like?"
"They're just four best friends from Minnesota who play hockey." I said. 'Four best friends from Minnesota.' I liked the sound of that.
