Aurthers notes: This story is set 1 year after the war. This is my first fanfiction, so don't yell at me if it's not good.Also, this chapter is VERY short, if anyone likes this i will write the chapters a bit longer.

"No...This can't be right...it can't..." Queen said to herself as she slumped to the floor of the castles bathroom, still looking at the small test, clear blue.How am i going to tell Geddoe...?she thought, tears now running down her pale face.

Geddoe was sitting quietly in his room, drinking a bottle of wine when he heard a knok on the door.

There was Queen, face red and puffy. she was crying...why...?Did something happen? he asked himself. "what's wrong?"Geddoe questioned.

"Ged...I-I'm pregnant..." she sniffed, hugging Geddoe and burrying her face into his black shirt.he didn't know what to say,so he just hugged her back, trying to comfort her. A baby...? In a mercanairy unit...? Why does that sound awkward...? Geddoe a daddy...? Why does that sound even worse?

"what are we going to do Ged?" She asked, looking up at him. "I can't get an abortion...and what if it has some sort of lightning rune?"

"I can understand if you don't want an abortion, and there is a good chance the baby will have some form of rune...we could put it up for adoption." He suggested

"Adoption sounds great and all, but who would take a child with part of a dangerous true rune and actually take care of it and not sell it to Harmonia?"

Geddoe just shrugged, he hadn't thought about this, and then he remembered how luc and Sasari had both wanted his rune. Adoption would just be putting the baby in danger...what were they going to do? They couldn't keep it, the rest of the team didn't even know of Geddoe's relationship with Queen, how would they react if he told them she was pregnant with his child?
