Don't own anything.

Jess as she was being shot, tragic, I cried the whole episode, they had no right!

Smiling, laughing into the phone.

The joy on her face was obvious, happiness heard in her every word.

A truck barreled into the windows, smashing everything to smithereens.

People diving out of the way, but not her.

Standing strong, fearless, the tiniest shake of her hand as she pulled out the gun.

Shots fired, yelling, screaming, death on it's way.

The first bullet knocked her shoulder back, the second putting a hole in her stomach and causing her to collapse.

The pain was on her face now, the gunfire was over, the perpetrators escaping in a black Hummer.

Everyone started to come out, cops ran through the door, but she just lay there, left to die.

A man came rushing through the door, picking her up and yelling for an ambulance.

The shock was seen on the faces of people, reassurances were passed around, hoping she would make it.

Later, they stood in a line as they were told she passed away from wounds received in the line of duty.

They wished it back, hating the murderer she was protecting, the reason she had died.

The one the kidnappers had been after, a rich kid, being protected because he was going to testify against daddy.

If they caught the guys, it wouldn't make a difference, sure it may help her rest easy, but it wouldn't make her live again.

She wouldn't die in vain, but she still did die.
