It was a cool brisk summer night in Beaufort, North Carolina and Jaime Sullivan Carter had just gone to bed with her husband Landon Carter. Next thing she knew God was calling her telling her its time to leave earth.
She replied "Give a me few weeks in the hospital so Landon can say his final good byes to me. Please I know he will be heart broken if he didn't say good bye to me properly."
God replied "2 weeks is all that I'm giving you to say your good byes at this time in 2 weeks I will call you home."
"Thank you lord I will use these 2 weeks wisely."
In the morning she woke and told Landon about how she only had 2 weeks and that 2 days before the deadline she will be put in the hospital and die there.
They
spent the next week together making sure to savor every moment they
had.
Eventually by mid week the 2nd week Jaime ended
up in the hospital. On the last day she told Landon to never forget
the love and happiness they shared during their relationship and
marriage. He promised her that he would keep the necklace she always
wore until the end of his days.
When the time came Landon gave his wife, Jaime one last embrace and kiss. With that she went in to heaven where she would always wait for him to meet up with her when it was his time to leave earth and join her in heaven.
