So I saw "Cooper's" tweet which read "I convinced my brother that our dad was planning to give him up for adoption on his sixth birthday. #ConfessionNight" ( Cooper_GLEE is the twitter). Also published on Tumblr, my Tumblr URL is the same as my pen name here on FF.

Cooper opened the pantry, found the container of cookies, popped it open and began eating them straight from the container. "Coop?" 5-year-old Blaine looked over at him. "Yup?" "Should I ask Mommy and Daddy for LEGO's or for bowties for my birthday?" "I'd go Legos." Suddenly, and idea came to Cooper and he sat beside his brother. "But did you know Dad has something really big planned for your birthday?" "He does?! Cool! Is it a bouncy house?" "Nope." "What is it?" "I don't know if I should tell you….." "Tell me tell me! Please?" "He's gonna give you up for adoption!" "What?" "Yup, that's the way it works. You raise a kid for 5 years, then you can give them up for adoption when they turn 6." Cooper expected Blaine to laugh or tell him that wasn't the way things worked. He did not expect him to run away screaming "Daaaadddddyyyy!" "Oh crap." Cooper muttered, running after his brother. Blaine had run into their father's office and was now clinging to his leg, sobbing. "Blainey, it was a joke! I was kidding!" "What on earth did you tell him?" George asked, lifting his 5-year-old son into his lap. "I kinda told him you were planning on giving him up for adoption on his 6th birthday." "Cooper!" Blaine gripped his father's shirt tightly, pleading, "Please don't give me up Daddy, please let me stay." "Cooper just made that up Blainers, I'm not going to give you up." Cooper crouched down. "It was just a joke Blainey, it's not true." "You made it up?" "Yeah, it was just made up." "You're mean Cooper! I hate you!" Blaine turned his head away from his brother. Cooper felt like he'd been slapped in the face. Part of him felt like he deserved it, given how much he'd scared his little brother, but he never thought sweet little Blaine would say something so horrible. "Blaine, don't say you hate somebody, okay? That's not nice." George explained. Blaine sniffed. "Sorry Daddy." "Don't apologize to me. You didn't say it to me." "Sorry Coop." "I'm sorry I told you that Blainey, it was supposed to be a funny joke." Cooper held out his arms. Blaine slid off his father's lap and hugged his brother. Cooper hugged him tight and stood up, balancing Blaine on his hip. "You wanna go play LEGO's?" He knew LEGO's were the best way to cheer Blaine up. "Yes!" Cooper put Blaine down and followed him into the playroom. "What do you want to build?" "A castle!" Cooper got the LEGO's and helped Blaine begin a base for his castle. Pretty soon Blaine was all smiles again.

Sorry for the abrupt ending, but I didn't really know how to end this. Read and Review please!
