This poem takes place in the Silver Millennium; it's about Serenity and Endymion's first dance. I don't really like this pairing, but here you are!
Dance
he walks up
"May I have this dance?"
shakes head "Don't know how…"
"I'll show you."
Takes hand, shows patiently.

She twirls, messes up.
"Sorry…"
"It's alright, we'll try again."
Tries, twirls,
This time right.

Both smile.
Dance ends, part ways,
Only left with
memories.
So, there it was…. Actually, it's based on a true (!) story. My first (real) dance ever. It happened at NoBrandCon 2005 (Eau Claire, WI).
