It was almost supper time as I walked to my home. I heard screaming from the inside. Wondering what it was, I ran into the palace, towards the screaming. As I approached my father's room, the yelling and screaming got more louder. I even heard squeals.

"Father?! FATHER!" I screamed and ran to him. He was tied to the bed, a giant slash in his shoulder, and had blood all over him. I looked around the room, and saw dead rappigs everywhere.

"Who. Did. This?!" I yelled. I walked out of the room into the corridor and felt something grab either one of my arms. Struggling, I see a man with greasy black hair come out of the shadows. His smirk was dark, and his eyes narrowed at the sight of me. My eyes widened.

"Who the hell are you?!" I shouted at him, and he kept smirking.

"I SAID, WHO ARE YOU?!" I yelled really loudly.

"I'm surprised, princess Noelle, Daughter of Emperor Peony," said the man. He snapped his fingers, and the two boys, who were holding my arms, released me at once. The boys were both tall and skinny, but one had blonde hair and the other had brown.

"That doesn't explain ANYTHING! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" I screamed.

"I'm the man your father tried to kill! Actually I'm not exact it was your father, but he was certainly from Malkuth. Most likely in the military."

"My father wouldn't do that!"

"Noelle, prepare to die. I've had enough of you, your father, and your kingdom!" He drew his sword. I drew mine too, and charged at him. He had unfortunately blocked my attack, and I was sent flying into the air.

"Aah! Wait!" I screamed. "I have one more question! Please!" The man stopped.

"Is my father dead?" The man didn't answer me. Instead, he charged at me, but I couldn't move. My body was frozen. This is it, I thought, I'm going to die.

"NOLIE! MOVE!" I heard a different voice. I saw a blonde man slash the charging man in the neck, and his head fell to the floor.

"NOLIE!" The body had fallen on me. I was covered in it's blood. But, a few seconds later, the body was thrown off of me and I saw Guy, my cousin, kneeling beside me. He held out a hand to help me stand up, and I took it. Guy was taller than me, but then again he's older.

"Nolie, are you okay?" he asked. My eyes were wide, but I nodded anyways.

"Y-yeah…"

"Are you sure? I mean, that was scary, even for me," he replied. I burst into tears and hugged Guy.

"Guy… That was so scary… Thank you for saving me…" I whispered through a sobbing mouth. He hugged back gently, then picked me up off my feet. I sobbed into his chest as he took me outside.

"Nolie, I'm taking you to the inn, we need you away from the palace and healed. I also want you to get rest. Okay?" I nodded in response, for I was still crying. "Alright."

Guy took me outside, and I could feel people staring. I clutched his shirt, burying my face in his chest.

We soon arrived in the inn, and I could hear Guy talking to the manager.

"Take good care of her, get her medical help and let her rest.," Guy said.

"I'm hungry," I mumbled into his shirt.

"Alright, and get her some food, too. I could feel Guy walking again, and I could hear a door being opened.

"Here Nolie," he said, and laid me down on a bed. I was placed on my back, looking up at Guy. I still had blood on me.

"Guy…. Don't leave me…" I whispered, looking at him. He smiled and nodded back at me.

"I'm not going to leave you,' he chuckled, "you just had a very scaring moment. Do you think I dislike you, princess?"

"Thanks, Guy…" I said and closed my eyes.

"Sleep, Nolie," he said. I felt him kiss my cheek, and I drifted off into a light sleep.
