Seeley Booth woke up cold.

When he was still barely grasping to consciousness he was aware that he was shivering, then he became so cold that he wondered why he wasn't already blue. Or maybe he was. Booth reached for his blankets. He found the edge of a sheet and pulled, only to find something heavy was lying on top of it.

Parker, his mind instantly growled.

The little monkey had probably come in here in the night and stole the blankets. Booth moaned. Now he was going to have to get more blankets. He wouldn't wake up his kid. Confusion entered his mind. Parker was with Rebecca this weekend. Booths' eyes flew open and quickly shut again against the December sunlight. Booth squinted his eyes opened and titled his head to the side. All of his blankets were wrapped in a ball on the left side of his bed.

Rolling so that he was lying on his arm Booth reached over and began to peel off the top quilt when a hand snaked out and pulled it back. He grinned, last night coming back to him. Booth grabbed the corner of the quilt again and pulled. Again the hand grabbed it back, this time though Booth didn't let go.

"I'm cold," whined Temperance Brennan.

"You're cold? You have all the blankets." Booth scoffed back.

"Cold." Bones said, still half asleep.

Sighing Booth ignored her protests as he untangled her from the two quilts and the sheet. As she shivered and glared at him, Booth settled the blankets back over them. He leaned in close so that their noses were touching, "Still cold?" He teased.

Brennan wrapped her arms around his neck and tangled their legs together. She shook her head, "Tired," she yawned.

Just a short little drabble that popped into my mind. I don't own Bones. Hope y'all like it enough to review.
