Cooking with Goku and Goten
Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ.
Goku and Goten were hungry. Chi-Chi was shopping with Bulma. Gohan was studying with Videl. What were two Saiyan to do.
"Dad, isn't there a book mommy uses when she cooks food sometimes?" Goten asked.
"I thinks so, Goten. It's called a lookbook, a tookbook, a shookbook?" Goku said.
"I think it's a cookbook."
"Okay where is this cookbook you speak of, Goten."
"In the kitchen."
After the cookbook was found, they found a yummy looking thing.
"This looks good, Daddy."
"Okay what does the recipe say."
Pure and Simple Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks melted butter, cooled slightly - you do not want to cook the eggs (I used unsalted butter)
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 package chocolate chips (I used dark chocolate chips and only used about 3/4 package)
"Apparently, we need this stuff to make it, Daddy."
"Check."
Mix the sugars into the melted butter. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix well. When combined, add the chips. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
Goku, added powdered sugar(which is wrong) and light brown sugar in the butter. Goten dropped in two whole eggs. Goku dumped a container of vanilla ice cream in the bowl. Goten put in a cup full a salt, seven tulips, and ginger ale. Goku mixed it all up and put it in the oven, put it in on a one thousand degrees.
Sixty minutes later.
"The cookies!" Goku yelled.
They got the cookies out of the oven and tasted them.
"Blech! These are yucky!" Goten complained.
"Ugh! You got that right, Goten!" Goku agrees.
A/N: R & R. The recipe belongs to The Brothers Family.
