Kohona wasn't always a Demon
Pein looked kind of bored. It had been a year since his daughter disappeared and he missed her. Deidara came in the office with a surprised look on his face. "What? Have you found her" Pein asked. Deidara shook his head and pointed out the window. Pein turned around and shivered. A rainbow was wrapped around the sun. "Does that mean that Orochimaru is still alive somewhere" Deidara asked. Pein shook his head and got up. "It means that the death of a very powerful Jinchuriki is upon us" Pein said. Deidara looked confused. "Let's hope its Uzumaki Naruto and not who I hate to think it is" Pein said. He walked out of the room and straight to his daughter's room. Konan was in there with her daughter's dogs. They were all feeling her absence. Dino, Nikko and Cho didn't do anything but search for their master. She was beyond their sense of smell though. Konan looked at Pein as he came in. His movements were slow and every step brought him closer to the sick reality. Pein watched Kohona being torn apart by the Kyuubi play in his mind. Kohona wasn't missing. She was dead. Pein just told them she was missing so her teammates and the rest of the Akatsuki wouldn't feel like it was their fault. He lied to them all just to cover up his own weakness. Kohona had died to save him. The one person who should have protected her.
Pein sat by Konan and put an arm around her. Konan's hopeful smile disappeared. "Konan I have to tell you "he started. Pein started to remember everything. (This is Pein's memory) He was outside his room waiting to hear what the doctor said about Konan. He was waiting for the bad news when Konan ran out of the room and wrapped her arms around him. "We're going to have a baby" she said. Pein felt himself smiling. Now Pein was pacing through the living room with Deidara asleep on the couch. He heard Konan groan in pain and it hurt him that he couldn't be in there while that Michael Jackson stunt double Orochimaru was in there. He heard his baby cry and then the sound of glass being broken. Deidara woke up for he had heard the cry too. "Congratulations Leader! Have a Cuban you dog you" Deidara said. Pein spat the cigar out and went in the room. Konan was at the window yelling at something. Pein pointed at the bed and Konan sighed and laid back down. Pein went out the window and followed whoever stole his child. "You thief! I'll turn you inside out for this mess-up" Pein growled. The culprit turned around and Pein gasped. It was Orochimaru. Pein felt the anger running through his body. The Rinnengan appeared in his eyes. "Give me back my child or I'll turn you into a belt snake-boy" Pein said.
