Author's Note: Hello! Here is the re-write for I'm Sorry! Known as I'm Sorry 2.0! Basically after reading half-blood prince a loooong time ago I wrote a little one-shot about Draco telling Harry he was sorry and coming to the light. As I was a lot younger at the time, the story wasn't very well written so I decided to give it another go. Its AU and not a slash fic, but if you like it can be seen as one. You can find the original version, on my account. So here we are! I do hope you enjoy this little one-shot and please review. :D

The sun blazed down on the concrete street of Privet Drive. A random dog barked somewhere nearby and the engine of a car could be heard driving in the distance. It looked like an ordinary street, completely normal as if nothing was amiss. If only it was, for very soon the entire nation of Great Britain would be plunged into a long and devastating war.

No one felt this more then Mr. Harry Potter, who carried the weight of the oncoming storm more then anyone in the world. That very person suddenly came out of number four and walked down the concrete sidewalk, deep in thought. Nothing would be the same for him this year, and the unknown was coming fast. He had ten days until his seventeenth birthday and before his plan had to come into action.

He finally made it to the small park he had visited so many times. He was once cornered at this park seven years ago by a bunch of Harry Hunters, a horrible memory of his childhood. However, this was also the place where he had first met his Godfather, who was so cruelly taken away. He sighed and went to sit on the rusty swing at the far corner of the playground.

"Harry."

His head snapped up in alarm and he snatched his wand out of his pocket, pointing it at the person who had followed him. Standing before him was a familiar pale face, Draco Malfoy. Harry should have been enraged and should have cursed the Slytherin into oblivion but the only thing he could feel for his old enemy was pity. Malfoy was shaking, his face was paler then he had ever seen in and a series of angry looking cuts covered it. He was a lot skinnier and was still in his school uniform, which was in a sorry state.

"Malfoy, What are you doing here?" Harry asked.

Even after the events of last year, after everything Malfoy had done, Harry felt truly sorry for what had happened to him.

Draco Malfoy looked up at him with haunted grey eyes. "I wanted to say, I'm Sorry." He croaked. "I'm sorry for being hateful to you at school, I'm sorry for poisoning Ron Weasley and Katie Bell, and I'm Sorry for letting the Death Eaters into the Castle."

"I forgive you." Harry said.

"What?" he said surprised. He looked at Harry as if he were mad.

"I know how horrible Voldemort can be. You've obviously paid the price for anything you've done to me."

Draco nodded. "My mother's dead. If the death eater's ever find me, they'll do the same to me. I had no where else to go."

"You want to join us?"

"Yes."

"Well, then come with me. My house is this way."

Harry had no idea how the Dursleys would be convinced to let another wizard into the house, but he would find a way. This could be a trap, he thought to himself, but then again Voldemort would have just come himself if he could. Draco was sorry, and he would help him through it. The two teenaged wizards made their way back to the lines of houses and looked at the ordinary façade, that would only last for ten more summer days.
