Emotional Blackmail

Intro: Blackmail and that what this is. Brooke Davis had Lucas Scott right where she wanted him in her arms and in her bed. Reason she is doing this she knows her ex-best friend Peyton Sawyer is in love with Lucas and there is no way Peyton was going to have Lucas Scott if Brooke has anything to say about it. Peyton has given up she was done; if Lucas wanted Brooke then let him have her she was sick and tired of all the drama. There was one thing Peyton could not hide and that was the connection to Lucas.

Chapter 1

Lucas rolled over in be to see two eyes looking at him.

"Good morning Pretty Boy." Brooke said to Lucas.

Lucas rolled over and grumbled, buried his head he did not want to get up.

Brooke started to rub his back and ran his hands through his hair. Kissing him on the back of his neck.

"Brooke not now." "I am tired and I have a long day ahead of me." "I just want to take a shower and go to work." Lucas told Brooke.

"I thought you liked the way I woke you up." "I will be in the kitchen." Brooke stated as she stomped out of their bedroom.

Lucas closed his eyes he was getting real tired of this. Brooke is being too needy lately. She wants to be everywhere I am. I do know why she is doing it to get to Peyton. Peyton Sawyer the love of my life who now would not throw water on me if I was on fire. Truth is I can't blame her after what happened. Wherever Peyton is and I am there Brooke is on me like glue. Smiling and smirking and delighting in making Peyton feel uncomfortable. Peyton has stopped coming by the café and Tric. I do not help matters if I do see Peyton out with someone I have to go over and say something or just be rude by interrupting things. This is hardest on Peyton; she is the one who is suffering the most.

Peyton sat in her red bedroom drawing it gives her peace and some purpose in her life. She needs and it is an outlet for her. It has been a struggle for her.

Like Peyton says many time. "They All Leave."

Peyton decided she would just stay home and not be around anyone. She wanted some alone time. She has had it with this town she has been thinking about leaving and now she is going to do it. She would take that risk she has always wanted to and get of Tree Hill and make it on her own. The thing is can she get out the door in order to do it. Peyton's cell phone rang.

"Hey Peyton are you coming to the studio today?" Haley asked her.

"Hi Haley no not today not feeling well." "You can handle Mia she will be just fine." "Thanks Haley." Peyton said.

"Peyton you have to come out some time I promise Lucas nor Brooke are not going to be around Tric today." Haley told her.

"No Haley I really need to stay home." Peyton said as she hung up.

"I take it she is not coming." Mia said.

"No sorry Mia." Haley said.

It has been a month since she found them together. No she and Lucas were not together they just broke up for the hundredth time but it never lasted. But this time Brooke had just lost Chase and she was on the prowl. At one point Lucas and Brooke were an item why not try again Brooke thought. So she went for it.

Peyton and Brooke had already ended their friendship long ago. So Brooke knew if she did this she would tear Peyton up inside and make her crazy. Lucas on the other hand did not like what Brooke was doing but really did nothing to stop it either.

It had come to the fact that this town was not big enough for the three of them one who have to go and if she did she would not be back.

Peyton was sitting at her desk sketching on the paper there was a heart broken three different ways. Under it said.
