Light Story 1 : Confession

Zero Requiem has past, Lelouch-sama has died and world status now is 'peace'.
Just a day after Lelouch's death, Schneizel gave a speech in Lelouch funeral and declare that the next emperor, I mean empress, is belong to Nunnaly, Lelouch's beloved sister.
That night, just after that speech, Kanon came to Schneizel's headquarters. He knock the door. "Schneizel-sama?"
"Come in."
"Schneizel-sama,..." he bowed. "Why did you determine Nunnally as the new empress?" Kanon ask bluntly.
"Is that bothered you? You never ask me that bluntly." Schneizel asked and gazed his right-hand man.
"Y-yes, I'm so sorry for that, you must be tired now, but... you could be the next emperor, your highness."
"Then, I don't mind to loose it." Schneizel smirked at Kanon.
"But, for what kind of reason? That's your big dream, right? Become an emperor."
"Kanon, do you know that I'm tired of those politic conflicts, that I must survive since I was born?" He stared without blinking. Kanon throw his sight to floor, can't stared back his highness.
"S-sorry,-"
"What do you apologize for?"
"..." Kanon can't answer him.
Schneizel stood up and walked through his desk to Kanon. He stared at him. Kanon can sense his majesty's breath near him.
"Do you know that now I just want to life happily with someone I really love, even it means that I must throw away all my pride?" Kanon eyes widen. Now he really felt jealous with Nina, but he keep looking at floor.
"Kanon, look at me! I want you to listen to my next confession."
"Eh? Ah, sure." He raise his face and try to look at his master's eyes.
Suddenly, Schneizel grab Kanon and hug him firmly. Kanon blushed in a second, can't believe what was happened.
"Sc-Schneizel-sama?" his voice trembling.
"Kanon,..." Schneizel whispered,
"...I love you"
