Can't Stand To Lose Her
He couldn't stand it! He couldn't stand to see Addison waste the rest of her life with someone who didn't truly love her, someone who was still in love with someone else.
He had to stop her, stop her from making the biggest mistake of her life.
But first he had to see her walk down that aisle, and he had to watch as her father, the Captain, gave her away to another man, that wasn't him.
He had mixed feelings for Addison. He loved her, this he was sure about, 100% sure. He loved everything about her! Her smile, her laugh, her beautiful red hair, but most of all he loved the way they use to kiss, her lips so soft and gentle.
Then there was a part of him that hated her! Hated how she gave up on them so soon, hated how she was too afraid to be with the person she REALLY loved. Then his mind drifted to Pete, that S.O.B! How could he hurt her like this, how could he keep on pretending that he was in love with her. When really he was in love with Violet. That's what he hated most about all this. The he finally came out of his thoughts at exactly the right time. The priest was about to say those words, those words that could give them their last shot of being together. When the priest finally said those words, he didn't hesitate, not any longer, he stood up and said, "I object!"
