Insane
Sometimes Jacob thinks he's losing his mind.
Then he remembers where his mind went.
A lot of his mind is focused on Renesmee, his perfect imprint. And why shouldn't it be? Your imprint's supposed to be the center of your life.
But a part of Jacob's mind is still thinking about Bella. Of course it's weird to think about his imprint's mother. But he loved her once, and it's hard to shake off the jealousy he feels when he sees her with Edward.
Some of his mind thinks about his beta, Leah. She sticks out. She's unlike anyone else, and Jacob likes that about her.
Sometimes Jake thinks that he feels more than just friendship for Leah, but he ignores that. He has an imprint.
And the small part of Jacob's mind not taken over by Renesmee, Bella or Leah is focused on everything else in his life. His pack, his family, his friends, himself.
Sometimes Jacob thinks he's losing his mind.
But then he remembers that he didn't lose it, he gave it away.
