I crept around the corner, watching out for the creaky floor boards, just waiting for me to fall through. I looked around the dark room; the windows had been cracked for years, the floor boards were cracking and creaking with every step I took. The walls were decaying and the wallpaper was peeling off.

I walked further down the long hallway, fearing for my life with every single step. " Sss." My head whipped around to see a large snake, I squeaked. " Shoo!" I whispered, it did not budge. " Shoo!" I said a bit louder. A bang sounded in the very last room. Forgetting the snake, I swallowed and walked towards the room and put my hand on the handle. It was freezing, 'odd.' I thought. I turned it, cringing at the loud squeak it made. Rustling sounds came from the room, I opened the door further.

" Get out!" A white, translucent women, with debrees filled hair and wild, fear filled eyes, yelled in my face. I screamed a blood curdling sound that hurt my throat. " Shut up!" she hissed. Oddly soft footsteps came our way and I closed my mouth. The footsteps got closer, just as fast as they got a bit louder. " Get out!" she whispered and shut the door.

" Trespasser." A woman hissed. Cold hands suddenly grabbed my arm, and my neck burned fiercely. I screamed...

I bolted upright in my new bed, sweat streaming down my face. I drew in a shuddering breath, I had been having that dream a lot lately ever since I moved to Forks.

" Bella I'm going to work now. Get up and get ready for school." My father Charlie called up the stairs.

" Alright." I sat up and rubbed my face.

I stood and went to take to take a shower...

When I was done, I got dressed in a long sleeve gray shirt with my green short sleeve jersey over it, and a pair or skinny jeans with some converse.

I brushed and dried my mahogany colored hair and ran downstairs and packed my bag and checked the clock. I sighed, I had to leave. I slung my bag over my shoulder and went out to my monstrous, faded red truck. As I got in the roar of the engine, somehow comforted me.

I drove down the slippery, wet road towards my impending doom... Forks High School.
