The Same Moon
Every night I walk out of the village just to see the moon
The same moon
Some people think it's just a big rock in the sky
But I think it's so much more
To me it's a reminder
A reminder of my past
A reminder of you
Something that I can just look at
And remember everything we did together
Like when we first became genin
Or the chunin exams
But in every memory
Your right there
With me and Naruto
And Kakashi-Senei
But every night I think about you
And every time I sleep I have the same dream
The one were you came back
To Konoha
To me
And in every dream
Is the same moon
The same one I look at and think
The one where I think about you
I just hope that someday you will come back
That you won't let Orochimaru take over your body
That we can become team 7 again
And go back the way we used to be
When it's a four man team
Not three
I just hope that you are looking at the same moon
And thinking about your past too
I hope you remember
I know I do
I will be waiting for you
For you to come back
Where you belong
I promise the next time I see you
I will become stronger
Physically and emotionally
But until then I will be doing what I have been doing
Staring at the moon every night
