When we were eight

"Oh no you don't!" A tiny redhead who was sprawled out on the floor shouted, as he grabbed hold of his friend's ankle, who then tumbled to the floor,

"Ouch! That was mean Aerrow!" A small golden skinned girl shouted, flicking her long blackish blue fringe out of her face, her pale blue top, now covered in grass stains,

Aerrow over took and headed straight for the tree in his back garden, when he noticed his best friend ever rush up next to him,

"Maybe not mean enough Piper!" Aerrow shouted, turning to face the girl, then turning back to see where he was going, he then grinded to holt finding that the tree they were racing to was right in front of him.

Aerrow then found everything was black.

A few hours later, the 8-year-old felt hot, and like something was poking him,

"Aerrow, Aerrow wake up," an older female voice requested,

The red heads eyes slowly fluttered open, his vision was blurry, but he could make out to figure's standing over him, Aerrow rubbed his eyes and sat up slowly. He woke up in his bedroom, painted red and blue with a picture of his dad hanging up on the wall,

"What happened?" He asked blinking several times,

"You ran into a tree," Piper giggled nodding slightly sliding off of Aerrow's mum's knee,

Aerrow, who was now angry that Piper was being mean about his accident, pulled on her long blue bunchy,

"Ow!" She screamed, "What was than for!"

"Being mean," Aerrow barked falling backwards slightly,

"Maybe not mean enough," Piper hissed, pulling a strand of his tousled red hair,

"Hey!" Aerrow shouted, jumping out of the bed, still in his grass stained clothes,

"Last one to the tree eats chicken poo!" Piper screamed running out of the room, with Aerrow close behind her.

Aerrow's mum, Trinity who was down stairs doing the dishes, heard the two shouting, then their light footsteps storming across the hallway and down the stairs,

Aerrow and Piper both got to the door, and then fought to see who could get through it first,

"Okay, that's enough," Trinity stated quietly, the pair calmed down and stopped scrapping to see who could get through a doorway first, "Why don't I put on a film for the two of you?" She asked calmly, directing the 8-year-olds to the living room,

Aerrow and Piper both hopped onto the sofa while Trinity pressed play for the Lion King to start.

When the evening drew in, and darkness had closed in on all of Atmos, the best friends in the living room, who were originally watching the lion king, were no asleep, curled up on the sofa snoozing the night away.

Trinity flicked the light off, and covered the sleeping children in a blanket,

"Pleasant dreams," She whispered quietly leaving the room.

Everyone thought Trinity was weird, when she told everyone when she was expecting Aerrow that her son would one day be a sky knight, she didn't even know that she was having a boy, but she was sure of herself.

She expected great things off of Aerrow, and Piper.

Would these two be patrolling the skies with their own squadron, like Aerrow's father? Or would they be going out every night and getting themselves drunk, like Piper's mum?

One day, would Piper be expecting a little sky knight of her own?

Well that was awful.

Oh well, tell me what you think, please, needing motivation people, gives me the fuels that I needs to help me survive the cruel world of fan fiction, PLEASE!
