In Kiru City, Tom and Kaz were looking around at the local market, trying to find something to scan.
They were hoping to find a strong creature to scan or maybe a new mugic, but so far they have not seen anything that looked promising.
The few weapons on display that were for sale were not worth the energy to scan and the mugics they saw so far were very common ones that they already had too many scans of.
Kaz felt like porting back to Chaotic, but before he was about to voice his opinion to his friend, he saw a stand where a creature was selling yarn and then a random thought came to his mind.
"Hey, Tom where do creatures get yarn?" Kaz asked. "I mean they don't have sheep or any other animal that could have wool. At least I don't think they do."
"I don't know." Tom said. He looked like he was thinking over the question for a better answer to give to his friend. " I've never seen any animals in Perim that the creatures use to get their wool."
"Well, they have to get the wool from somewhere." Kaz pointed out, looking over at the stand with the yarn.
"Maybe it's not wool at all. It could come from a plant for all we know. They might have a plant similar to our cotton plants back on earth." Tom said.
"That's sounds possible." Kaz said, "Well, I'm tired, hungry and want to get out of the sun. Let's get back to Chaotic."
"Fine, I could get something to eat."
And then, they ported back to Chaotic without thinking another thought about the yarn and where it came from.
Meanwhile somewhere else in Overworld territory, a small village filled with creatures whom looked like sheep were lining up to get their monthly hair cut. One creature who was cutting the wool of the heads and bodies of the villagers, made sure to get all the wool off them and then put the wool into large bags that would later be shipped off to buyers across the Overworld.
