A/N - I may not be a fan of Valentines Day, but Link deserves some lovin'... hope you like.

"Sodding Valentines Day," Link mumbled, kicking a bottle, sending it clattering to the other side of the room.

"Not your favourite day of the year then?" Someone asked, and he turned to see Lulu watching him from the floor, eyebrows raised.

"You could say that."

"Then pull up a bit of floor," Lulu laughed, patting the floor next to him.

"Don't mind if I do," Link sighed and dropped to the floor, gratefully accepting the bottle offered to him. "Even Sid gave out a card… Sid."

"Girls go a bit funny this time of year… it's like Christmas… with more hearts," Link laughed at this, then thought for a second before going into another fit of laughter. "What?" Lulu asked, blinking.

"Nothing, just…" He paused, letting out a snort. "Can you imagine if the cards had pictures of real hearts on them?"

"Wow, aren't you romantic?" Lulu rolled his eyes, grinning.

"I'll have you know I can be a bit of a softie," Link said, frowning when the other man snorted. "No, really! Blink used to get all upset about not getting cards, so I'd send them to him."

"Seriously?"

"Yup. He still doesn't know they're from me."

"How sweet," Lulu grinned. "He ever return the favour?"

"Didn't need to," Link smirked. "I always got tons, me. Well… alright… not tons."

"Not any?"

"Well… no." Lulu laughed again, "I don't care though… really."

"Sure?"

"Yeah," Link nodded. "Though… I 'spose it'd be nice to get at least one card." He shrugged and watched as Lulu looked around, reaching past him – giving him a face full of fluffy, brightly coloured hair – and picked up a piece of paper.

"Happy Valentines Day," Lulu grinned and gave him the piece of paper, which was nothing more than an old, scribbled on page from a magazine.

"Thanks," Link grinned, folding up the bit of paper and slipping it into his pocket. "Best card I've ever gotten."

"And you're keeping it?" Lulu looked surprised. "Who knew you had a soft side."

"It doesn't like to be shown very often."

"Then maybe now's not the best time to tell you that Mot's standing behind you," Lulu winces, pointing over the younger man's shoulder.

"Wha…" Link's eyes grew wide and he spun around, only to be met with thin air. "Hey!"

"Sorry," he grinned cheekily, putting an arm around Link's shoulders. "Couldn't resist." Link started to protest, but was cut off by a rather wet kiss to his cheek.

"Happy Valentines Day, Link." Link sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Happy Valentines Day Lulu"
