The True Legend Of Mewthree
Chapter 1: Born From Darkness
In the white void, ten gods gathered. Three trios, and the master that ruled over them. Their voices rang out with millennium of knowledge, wisdom, and power.
"Can you feel it?" said the dragon of darkness.
"No, I cannot," replied the Alpha.
"It appears as if I am the only one who can sense it, as I am attuned with darkness such as this."
"Be that as it may, does this darkness pose a threat?" queried the ruler of space.
"To us directly, not yet. To the humans, however..." the black dragon trailed off.
"What would it do to them?" asked the grey master of in-between.
"It seems as if it amplifies emotions that humans would define as 'negative'. Anger, sadness, arrogance. With the power this darkness currently holds, it shouldn't affect the humans enough to disrupt the natural order."
"Still," the creator of emotion spoke up, "we cannot leave something like this unchecked. The emotions of humans are powerful forces to trifle with, and any force that can do so freely must be kept under watch."
The pink and grey guardian then turned to the ruler of time, and asked, "Can you see what this darkness holds in the future?"
The steel blue dragon closed his eyes and bowed his head, and reached out into the infinite possibilities of time, searching for the answer that every being present sought.
What he found made his eyes shoot open and an involuntary gasp escape from his throat.
"What is it!?" asked the creator or willpower.
"It..it..." the dragon paused before answering. "I cannot see the true outcome of this event."
"But that is impossible!" roared the protector of the Reverse World. "You are the god of time! How can you not see into the future! It is your very nature to be able to do so!"
"I...do not know," admitted the blue being. "But, even though I cannot see the true outcome, I can determine a few things."
All of the other gods listened intently, curious as to what the god of time had to say.
" Firstly, this darkness will affect the human world at first, but will then spread into the rest of the universe. Second, if left unchecked, this darkness has the potential to end everything."
"What do you mean by 'everything?" asked the Alpha.
The blue dragon gazed up at its creator and ruler, and answered, "I mean exactly what I say. Everything, including all things in the physical plane, and in this plane as well."
The nine other beings remained silent, absorbing the new information with faces that were either shocked, depressed, or a mixture of both.
"And lastly?" queried the Alpha. The blue dragon did not question how the Alpha knew there was only one more piece of information. Instead, he simply stated it.
"There is only one being who can stop this darkness. And, there is a problem with this particular fact..."
All was silent as the ruler of time made the most surprising statement.
"I cannot seem to tell if this being is human or Pokemon."
And thus, the massive re-write begins! (for me at least) For those who are new to this story, I attempted to re-write most of this story a while back, but only managed to do the first chapter. Now I'm doing it again and this time I'm really gonna redo everything. Trust me when I say that the very first iteration of chapter 1 was basically complete crap, at least compared to this.
