Note: I own none of the characters, this is just a simple poem. Since I saw the third film twice, I felt some pity for poor old Davy Jones. I might as well write a poem describing his feelings about Calypso and events from when Davy cut out his heart to when he was under the control of that evil Lord Beckett.
I did the duty she assigned to me,
For ten long, faithful years,
Caring for the dead lost at sea,
Then she reduced me to tears.
I returned to find her,
Yet she was not there, my life fell apart.
To end my pain forever,
I cut out and locked away my heart.
My rage at her was a storm,
For what she had done to me,
Calypso was bound to human form,
And cut off for life from the sea.
I traveled the sea for many years,
Haunting the depths and collecting souls.
Never again I had those tears,
For the sake of my own tortured soul.
When Jack Sparrow, damn him,
Discovered the location of the Chest,
I sent the Kraken after him,
Only to lose the treasure I had best.
My heart was in wicked hands,
When I had promised it to her.
I was forced to Beckett's commands,
Knowing that my freedom was over.
Sitting at my organ, I was thinking of she,
Soft music flowing into my ear.
In my eye, wet and salty as the sea,
Was a small fragile tear.
End
End Note: Hope the rhyming was alright, I was trying to get some sort of pattern in the poem. Felt a little sad when I wrote it, most poetry I write is a little depressing at times.
