E/O Challenge: Opening line "The first one was intense..." Spoilers for the episode "Faith". Dean didn't really believe in all of this faith healing stuff, but what choice did he really have? My take on his time with the Reverend's healing hand.

The Power of Faith

E/O Challenge: Start a story with the line. "The first one was intense, the second knocked him off his feet." 100 words exactly.

The first one was intense, the second knocked him off his feet. Dean felt his knees give as waves of electricity seemed to pass through his body and into the Reverend's hand.

His breathing increased almost painfully and he blinked hard against the feeling. Oh God.

Another jolt passed through him and he felt himself falling once again. Then there was nothing.

Gasping, he then blinked to bring Sam's worried face into view. How did he? His heart was thudding loudly but it didn't hurt like before and he looked around in confusion. What the Hell?

Then he looked up.
