The Killer Strikes at the Full Moon

No one wanted to room with Reid when the team was on the road. Rossi had roomed with him once and that was a big mistake. Reid's bed had to face a certain way. He had to listen to Science Fiction Movies prior to retiring and then the music of hummingbirds and waterfalls which Reid needed to fall asleep were too much. Reid was usually placed way down the hallway. From everyone else. This suited Reid just fine.

The team was in Florida on St. George Island investigating a series of disappearances of 5 young couples on vacation who vanished without a trace after being seen on Dog Island. How they got there was a mystery as no one saw them leave by plane or boat. They were seen on the island but never seen again after that. This had happened over a period of 30 years and happened at different times of the year.. It was always during full moon and the couples had rented at the same motel the team was staying at. The motel the team was in was rather small, an old 1960's style motel with 2 stories (no elevator). Reid took the downstairs while the rest of the team took the upstairs.

After getting settled in and having some dinner, Reid watched a Science Fiction Movie. Then came the hummingbird and waterfall music.

Rossi couldn't sleep. He was thinking about the case. He went outside on the balcony to collect his thoughts. This case was really bothering him. He noticed that the moonlight shinned into Reid's room. He saw the son of the hotel owner's talking with Reid.

"I really don't know what I do this. I need some help before I do it again." said the serial killer to Reid.

The man was in tears and was sobbing hysterically. He told Reid that he lured the couples out to Dog Island and then killed them when everyone had left the Island for the day. Even though there were apartment buildings there the island was rather empty. Not many people around. He then threw their bodies out to sea where he knew they never would be found. He would get back by daylight. A voice told him he had to do this during the full moon.
