It's Sunrise

His purple pinstriped shirt flapped open against his chest in the warm morning breeze. His black pants and black dress shoes make him look out of place on the golden sanded beach. However, he seemed like he belonged. His face was leathery and tan and his sunglasses placed themselves perfectly on his face. His shoulders were rounded and his back toned. His red hair ruffled in the wind. With his hands on his hips, he stared off into the sparkling ocean. The turquoise waves crashed against the shore as his thoughts wandered.

She'd never seen him look so handsome, as he did now, unwinding on the beach. Her blonde hair blew over her shoulder as the warm breeze swept across her face.

She began to walk towards him. He heard light footsteps fall behind him. He turned around with a tired look painted on his face. She played a comforting smile on hers. Her presence, alone, put him at ease and his thin lips curved into a smile.

She came up next to him; she stood a full foot shorter than he did. But that only added to her southern perfection; at least it did in his eyes. As the wind slightly chilled her, he brought a long arm around her narrow shoulders. And there they stood, watching the sunset on the beach of Miami; comforted by each others' warmth.
