"Are you coming or not!"

"Yah Rory, or are you to scared"

Amy and Mels had grown impatient of Rory. They wanted to have an adventure but he was very afraid of the abandoned house the two girls insisted on exploring.

"w-why don't you go on without me?" he stammered. "I'm sure I could just wait out here for you."

"Stop worrying Rory! It will be fine. We'll all be together. What could possibly go wrong?" Insisted Amy, walking towards the frightened little boy, grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the house.

"Fine I'll come, but you and Mels have to pinky promise you won't leave me by myself"

"Fine, whatever, we promise. Now can we hurry up and go? Me and Amy have soccer practice later and if we're late, I'm blaming you."

Mels had never been very patient, and she was even less patient when it came to Rory. The moment she heard about the creepy abandoned house at the edge of town she knew she needed to see it. She grabbed Amy who in turn grabbed Rory, and the three rode their bikes all the way there. Now that they had arrived, there was no way Mels was giving up this chance at an adventure just because Rory was too scared.

So, the three friends all held hands, Amy in between Rory and Mels to ensure no fights would break out between the two of them, and walked into the house.

"Cool..." Both the girls muttered at the sight of the inside of the house. It was quite dark, as the windows had been boarded shut, and the only light source was the sunlight that crept through the cracks of the boards and the stream of light coming from Amy's flashlight.

"Can I go back outside?"

"No!" Ordered Mels.

"Here Rory, you can hold the flashlight."

"Thanks Amy" replied Rory, taking the plastic yellow flashlight in his hands.

Rory liked Amy, she was nice to him. A lot nicer than Mels. Rory didn't like Mels very much, but Amy and Mel's were best friends, so he had to play with both of them.

"When you two are done your little chat, get up here and look what I found" yelled Mels from the top of the winding staircase that lead to the second floor of the building.

Rory and Amy, who were intrigued by what Mels had found, went bounding up the staircase until they came across a puddle of slime.

"Whoa... What do you think it is?" Asked Amy, who had crouched down by the puddle and began to examine it.

"I don't know, but what ever it is, I want to know where it came from! Who wants to come exploring with me?" Asked Mels, who felt it to be her duty to take over the situation at hand.

"Ooh I want to come!" Said Amy, walking over to stand by her friend.

"I guess I'll come too..." Grumbled Rory. Clearly unhappy with the situation he was in.

"Well then, let's get going!"

And so, the three friends set off on a second adventure, searching for the source of the slime. Although they never did find out where it came from, they did notice something a bit odd. The three of them could have sworn the blue police box in the backyard hadn't been there when the arrived...
