Author's Note: I loved last night's episode. I'm starting to like Duke, and I couldn't help but wonder what he thinks about Jean.
Duke never wanted kids. But there's still a little part of him that depressed that he'll never meet Jean. His daughter. He wants to see her, even for just a minute, but he doesn't want to die.
He wishes Audrey had never told him the truth. At least then Duke could be in the dark about the baby that he'll never get to have. A picture is not enough, but it'll have to be. What matters is that she's safe.
It amazes Duke that he loves that little girl and he'll never get to meet her. Knowing about Jean hurts.
