Riley Freeman's day
The alarm buzzed at 6:30 AM, and Riley got up and threw it against the wall, almost breaking it. He hated getting up for school, especially so early. He considered ditching and going back to sleep, but he knew Granddad would never allow that. He showered and got dressed into baggy black jeans, XL white tee with an XL black tee over it. "I'm the toughest 8 yr old gangsta around," he thought.
Riley and his 10 yr old brother Huey, walked towards school. Riley was eating a couple of donuts he stole from the corner store along the way because he was still hungry after the breakfast Granddad made. Huey disapproved of the theft, but figured it was pointless to try to change Riley over something like that. Riley was already looking forward to lunch, when he would either steal a kid's lunch or make him give half, depending on his mood and hunger.
When they got to the school, they split up and went to their respective classes. Riley took his seat and started to mark all over the desk due to boredom.. "Riley! Stop damaging school property!" Mr. Patterson, the teacher, said. "Maybe I'm not ready to yet." Riley said. That remark got him sent to the principal's office, a familiar destination for Riley.
Lunchtime soon arrived. Riley went over and ate lunch with his friends,. He bought pizza with some money he stole from a kid's backpack. Then, to impress his friends, he grabbed Huey's backpack and dumped it in a trash can. This meant another trip to principal for Riley, but he didn't care.
Finally the school day was over. Riley had to stay an hour after due to his detention. He walked home, ripping up his homework and papers as usual and tossing them in the street. When he got home, Granddad was waiting for him. Riley got a whooping and got grounded for a week for his behavior at school. Riley didn't mind, he was a g, and knew the next day would bring more havoc.
