It was just one of those days.
Roderich sighed as he sat down next to his piano, fingers poised over the worn white keys. It was just one of those days, where everything seemed to be going wrong, where nothing seemed to go the way he wanted, resulting in a very angry and frustrated Austrian.
And as per usual, when he was angry, he'd play piano in order to vent. Usually, he played Chopin.
But this time, he played the anthem that he and Elizabeth once shared, remembering the days when they were unified. He remembered the days they shared, and he seemed to smile.
A deep melancholy settled in his heart as he played, but he was able to smile when Elizabeth came in to listen whilst passing by.
Afterwards, Roderich wasn't sure if he felt better or worse.
It was just one of those days, when afterward, he'd say that he's alright.
