This was written for Bade Prompts. Sorry for the people waiting for an update on my other stories. I have two stories I'm going to do since my prompt just said 'second.'

Disclaimer: Obviously, Victorious is not mine. Dan Schneider, watch out.

Seconds

Those ten seconds were the last ten seconds of their relationship. Beck could only watch Tori's front door, listening to the sound of Jade driving away. He wanted to chase after her, apologize, beg for forgiveness. But he just…couldn't. They had fought 17 times that week, almost a record breaker. He didn't even remember what half of them were about. Something stupid, no doubt.

"Let's play some cards." Beck walked over to the table his friends were using and sat down at one of the places. He barely registered Cat's counting, or Tori's pity glance, or Robbie's eyes filling with unshed tears, or Andre's grim face, but he did notice Trina. God, he wanted her off of him.

This was obviously her fault. Why did she have to tackle him? He could have had more time to think about his failed relationship rather than getting her off of him. The floor wasn't even that comfortable. He only preferred to be on the floor when Jade was with him. Beck leaned his head against his hand and automatically played whatever hand he could. He wasn't even paying attention to whatever cards he had.

By the end of the night, everyone had successfully managed to avoid the subject of his relationship and the topic of Jade overall. By the time he walked outside, he forgot that he had come over with Jade. As in, with her car. Luckily, Andre noticed him awkwardly standing on the Vega driveway and offered him a ride. The two friends silently got into the car and drove to Beck's.

Beck was glad he hadn't been alone the time after he and Jade broke up, but now… He was stuck in his RV. Where everything reminded him of her. But it was neater than he had left it. Jade had come by. He could tell by the lack of her scissors on his desk, on the table by his couch, and in the secret area that was not the best kept secret. He sat down on his bed and finally let himself go. Beck finally let himself cry for the first time since his grandmother had been killed in that car accident.

In a matter of seconds, Beck had royally fucked up his relationship, and now he had to pay.
