"Rin you basterdo," I screamed pounding on the twins door. "Let me in you mofo!"
"Go away Izumi-Chan," he wailed from behind the door.
"Not until you give my homework back! Ugh, I'm calling Yuki…" I stopped in the middle of the sentence as Rin opened the door, shoved my homework at me and slammed the door shut again.
"Well that was easy," I groaned as I walked into the kitchen. I sat down at a table to finish my essay on Astaroth and his kin. As the only Exorcist in the cram school simply for the Demonology courses, I was forced by my Demonology teacher to do extra work. However my diligence in completing it caused me to be a target for Rin to copy when he didn't understand. I easily completed the essay but was feeling slightly guilty about threatening to call Yukio on his brother. I took the everyday class homework and slowly walked back to the twins' room, giving myself every opportunity to be selfish and turn back; but I didn't. I knocked quietly on the door and waited as I heard the shuffle of feet toward me.
Rin opened the door a crack, enough for him to see who it was, but upon seeing me he tried to slam it again. I say tried because I was an idiot and shoved my hand in. We heard a sickening crack and I cried out in pain.
"Izumi!" Rin threw the door open and grabbed hold of my arm, dragging me into the room and sitting me on Yukio's bed. He dug his cell phone out of the desk drawer and hit a few buttons.
"Yukio, can you get here a little faster? There was a little accident…"
"Accident you idiot?" I screamed at him, "My hand is bleeding!"
"It is? Oh it is… Yeah Yukio, hurry up. I'll get the first aid kit out." He hung up the phone then practically dove under Yukio's bed. A few manga came flying out, boys' love I noticed with a smirk, until finally he reappeared with the first aid kit just as Yukio came in, followed be a white schnauzer dog with a pink polka dotted bandana… Oh shit…
"Hello Mephisto," I groaned.
"Drei zwei eins. That better not be your writing hand Izumi," he said transforming back into a humanoid form.
"I'm left handed basterdo. What do you think?"
"Let's hope it's not broken then."
Just then Yukio decided to try and move my hand, causing a shock of pain that vibrated through my entire body. "FUCK!"
"It's seems to be broken in several places," he said, pushing his glasses up. "It may even require surgery to assure it heals properly. It seems a nerve may have found itself between two broken pieces. What exactly happened?"
"I was trying to be a nice person and someone slammed the door while not noticing I had my hand in."
Yukio and Mephisto turned and looked at Rin, who during my explanation and crawled to the bunk above his and was peeking out over the side suspiciously.
Mephisto shook his head sadly, "Your sister will not be happy."
"You think I don't know that," I glared at him.
"What won't I be happy about," said woman said, whisking into the room.
"Shura-san, Rin broke your sister's hand," Yukio said.
"What hand and how badly," my sister growled.
"Left, and it seems to be broken in four places, some maybe requiring surgery to allow it to heal properly." By the time he said surgery Rin was out of the room running for his life with Kirigakure going after him.
"I'M NOT SURE WHO TO BE MADDER AT! RIN FOR BREAKING IT, IZUMI FOR GETTING IT BROKEN, YUKIO FOR NOT CALLING ME ABOUT IT, OR MEPHISTO FOR BEING IN THE SAME ROOM!"
I burst out laughing as Mephisto's grin dropped dramatically.
"Shuuuuurrrraaaaa, I didn't do anything to any of them," he whined.
"Yet."
All of this chaos just because I tried to be nice, as long as my hand doesn't get broken again, I should do this more often.
