Remus was sitting on the edge of Sirius' bed, with Sirius crying on his shoulder.

"Moony… What should I do?" Sirius asked, voice shaking.

"Just tell him! Padfoot, Prongs is your best friend, He'll understand." James kept his eyes closed but tried to listen.

"Remus."

"Sirius, Tell him tomorrow." A short silence then Sirius nodded. "Now go to sleep."

"Okay…" Remus got up and went to his own bed while Sirius sat in his bed. He couldn't sleep because tomorrow he was going to tell James that he loved him.

Thankfully they were all on Christmas holidays and the Marauders, Severus, and Lucius were the only people who stayed.

The morning was the same as usual. The six boys all got up at nine, like every day, and headed down to the great hall for breakfast. Dumbledore and McGonagall were the only teachers in there.

James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all sat together with the two Slytherin boys, as if they were all… friends. But they all remained unnaturally silent. Once they all got back to their common rooms, James pulled Sirius aside.

"Hey, I'm practicing my Quidditch plan tonight, Are you coming…?" Sirius looked away to the floor.

"No, I'm sorry James but I have to meet up with someone…"

"Oh… That's alright; I'll have to have Moony help me. You know, with Lily and such." James shrugged then smiled.

"Sorry I'd come but… Yeah…" Sirius was still staring at the floor.

"It's alright, mate." James smiled sympathetically. "I understand." James walked away leaving Sirius. A single tear rolled down his cheek, which started a waterfall of tears. Sirius' knees got weak and he fell, crying alone in the Gryffindor's common room.

James left with Remus to go practice Quidditch, Peter was probably in the kitchen trying to bribe for Butter Beer.

Sirius went up to the Astronomy tower. The stars were brighter than ever tonight. He could hear the balls whooshing around the Quidditch field. Sirius saw a dark figure walking towards the castle.

"Padfoot!" Remus was calling for Sirius. Sirius just signaled him to come up. It didn't take long for Remus to get up there with him.

"What is it, Moony?"

"I told Prongs I'd be right back so I've gotta-" Sirius' soft lips against Remus' rough ones made the moment weird.

"SIRIUS BLACK!" Sirius pulled away from Remus at the sound of Severus' voice. Remus just stood there wide-eyed. "Sirius! You knew I liked Remus! What are you doing?" Sirius froze.

"Uh… Gotta go." Sirius ran out. He ran into a tall tough figure. "Oh, I'm sorry…" Sirius looked up to see Lucius.

"Oh, Black. Looking rather… Good right now." Malfoy gave Sirius a devilish smile.

"Thanks…" Sirius mumbled.

"Can I," Lucius put his face inches from Sirius'. "Steal a kiss?" But before Sirius could answer, Lucius had his mouth to Sirius'.

"What the FUCK!" Lucius turned and ran. Sirius looked over to see James. Sirius' mouth opened and closed multiple times, but nothing came out.

"No, I don't care that you like guys but I forbid you to be with Malfoy. That's just wrong on so many levels."

"He's not who I like…"

"Well then tell me! I'm your best friend." Sirius looked up at James; face pink, eyes full of fear. Then, as if a light bulb lit up, James understood. "It's… It's me, isn't it?" Sirius looked back down. Two warm fingers pushed Sirius' head up. His lips met James'.

James was pushing Sirius up against a wall now; one hand clutching a chunk of Sirius' hair, the other going down to his groin area. Sirius quickly pulled away.

"James I-" Sirius' words were muffled by James' lips.

"Sirius. I love you." James could feel Sirius smile through the kiss. James was now clutching Sirius' privates. A soft moan came from both boys.

James stepped back. "We might get in trouble." A laugh followed this.

"We are in the middle of a hallway."

"Yeah so let's go. You can sleep with me tonight." James smiled.

"Sounds like fun." Sirius smiled. They walked hand-in-hand back to the common room.
