Dobby first got socks when he was hired.
The Malfoy's gave him one pair of socks.
Dobby was sad because he liked socks and wanted more.
He begged the Malfoys to give him more but they didn't.
So Dobby decided to sneak out and buy some socks.
The problem was he didn't have any money.
Dobby asked around for money.
No one gave him any but a muggle did throw a shoe at his head.
"Dobby can't find money for socks!" Dobby said, sadly.
Then he found money on the floor!
He grabbed it and ran to the nearest store but the store was closed.
Dobby was sad.
He went home heartbroken.
The Malfoys found out that Dobby had snuck out and he was forced to beat himself.
A week pasted by.
Still no socks.
Dobby couldn't get out because he was on close watch.
All he had wanted was two pairs of socks.
"Narcissa!" Lucius growled. "This pair of socks has a huge hole in it!"
Narcissa tried to fix it but she couldn't.
"Just give it to the stupid elf." he growled.
They gave Dobby the socks.
Dobby was overjoyed even if they did have a big whole in them.
He finally had two pairs of socks.
