Sonic, Knuckles, Tikal, Shade and Chaos belong to SEGA, Julie-Su belongs to Archie Comics! Enjoy!
It was a nice day on Angel Island. Knuckles was guarding his Emerald, Tikal was walking with Chaos, Shade and Julie-Su were defending their clans' honor.
The Emerald's inhabitants came back and laid down near Knuckles on the Altar's steps.
Julie and Shade saw red and went to sit by Knuckles.
Tikal took his left arm, Julie his right arm and Shade his legs.
He was a bit irritated by this. This game has been going on for 5 minutes until:
"Why are you doing this ladies?" he said, a bit angered but flattered by this, for he has 3 echidnas ladies fighting for him.
"You are the last male, you have to be with one of us." said Shade.
"To ensure the survival of the echidna race." said Julie-Su.
"To help you protect the Master Emerald." said Tikal, smiling.
"Okay... I don't know how to decide which one of you 3 is going to be with me." said the red Echidna.
Suddenly a bright light was seen.
"Hey Echidnas. Hey Chaos" said the figure.
"Sonic! You might help me with my problem."
"Which one?" Sonic said, scratching his ear.
"Who shall I be with?" Knuckles said, pointing to the females.
"Don't know, you could hold a Battle Royale to see which one loves you the most."
"Thanks Sonic! You're the best. As you had the idea, you'll be the referee!" said Knuckles.
"I'll send Tails instead... Waah! Okay, I'll be the referee, ladies!" Sonic said as the females scared him.
"So, let the Battle Royale begin!" said Chaos.
"Chaos can talk?" said everyone except Tikal.
"Of course he can talk." replied Tikal.
"Weird..." said Sonic.
"Totally." said Julie-Su.
"I'M WAITING FOR A FIGHT FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!" said Shade.
"Right..." said Knuckles. "The fight zone will be the plains over there." he said, pointing at Red Mountain Zone.
"All right."
"Ready...Set...FIGHT!" said Sonic, dropping his arms. "Oh, the action begins with Shade elbowing Julie. But Tikal sent a Thunder Spear at Shade. Julie back-kicked Shade into the ribs. Oh, was that a scattering noise? It looks like Shade has some damage on herself, and that Tikal and Julie are teaming up to beat her first! Shade uses her Leech Blades on Tikal to heal her ribs. But Tikal nimbly dodges, allowing Julie to kick her into the head, knocking Shade incounscious. It looks like it's up to Julie and Tikal. Oh, it looks like Tikal is preparing some kind of attack... A Chaos Beam! Julie is hit in the chest, falling but she shot before she fell completely, causing Tikal to fall too. But... Tikal is using Chaos Regeneration! Is that worth a disqualification Knuckles? I guess not. Oh, the 2 fighters are getting up. Tikal attacks Julie first with a Chaos-charged punch, creating a small blast sending Julie away. Julie got sent back by 50 meters! She struggles to get up... but she fell. Tikal is victorious!"
"I'm so happy you won Tikal!" said Knuckles, rushing to her and lifting her, hugging her tight.
"Me too! That wasn't hard. To think I am a pacifist... Chaos, can you heal them please?"
Chaos nodded and healed Shade and Julie.
"I have always loved you Tikal. Since I first saw you. You were the first Echidna I've ever seen."
"You realize there's a possibility for me to be your ancestor?"
"I know, and I don't care. Princess Tikal Pachacamac, will you marry me?" Knuckles said, handing a golden ring with a piece of the Master Emerald on top."
"I will!" she said as she kissed him.
So, consider this a prequel to Mephiles returns as Aleen and Axel are going to appear in the next chapter!
