Just Bad Dreams.
A long time ago, in a land that was no way novice to the idea of magic, lived a sorceress with fiery-red hair. Not just any sorceress, but the infamous 'bandit-killer' and 'dragonspooker' herself, Lina Inverse. Her travels have taken her all over the vast land in which she lives, and has set her up with the companions that will follower her to the ends of the earth. With the life she leads of striking rouge bandit gangs, stealing a fortune to her benefit, and destroying horrendous evil at every turn, one would think that she has it all and has done it all. That one would be mistaken, for then we would not be talking about the same Lina that we all know. The Lina we all know is still wandering around these back roads and towns in search of some unlucky thief to throw a fireball upon.
Lina has annihilated several towns, burnt hundreds of bandits to a crisp, and helped to rid the world of a couple of dark lords. She has come to be known as the most powerful sorceress to roam the face of the earth. So in short when you start to hear the phrase, "Darkness beyond twilight, crimson beyond blood that flows." run for it.
With all the Lina has seen in her travels, it is only to be expected that images have become permanently engraved into her mind. Some images are not the ones that someone would like to remember, but then again the unpleasant ones are always the ones that we do. Up to recently, Lina has had her dreams under control. When I say control I mean, that she hasn't had any abnormal apparitions aside from the basic battles and apprehensions from the past. Of late, she has been losing sleep due to dreams. Dreams that aren't completely hers..
